🌰 Bulb Planting & Volunteer Hours

  • Temperance Alley Garden 1909 13th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 (map)

It’s that time of year when we make like squirrels and cash our spring bulbs underground for the winter. We’ll wind down the official growing season by ceremoniously seeding the alley with our dreams for a beautiful Spring. You’ll get a chance to plant your own tulip, hyacinth, or daffodil bulb.

Join the Temperance Alley garden stewards and our partners at Farm the District for a morning of garden tending, landscaping, and hanging out with the plants. We have plenty of materials and tasks to help you get your green fix for the week. Plus volunteers get to take home their pick of veggies from the weekly harvest!
