No matter the outcome of the election, there will inevitably be some chaos and confusion. There will be different stories swirling. There will be people talking at us all day.

This event will be an informal space to gather as a community to listen, heal & share in light of whatever is going on. This event will not be a space to hear the talking points that we will all be bombarded with by the news. Instead, we will take a break from those narratives, striking a different tone by dropping in together, sharing our voices, and feeling what emerges.

There will be light music, outdoor heaters & small circles of chairs for conversation. Blankets, pets and family members are welcome.

A note about COVID-19: Hand sanitizer will be provided. Masks are required, and we will be practicing social distancing for this event.

Location: This event will take place in the U St Neighborhood Association’s new Alley Park located between 12th and 13th Streets and between U and T Streets.
