Are you an emerging creator of theatre, live events, and in-person performance? Come join us at the garden of Temperance Alley to grow our collective artistry, connect with your peers, and organize around advocating for the director as a core artist of a theatrical process. This event will also be open to the public for those who are director-adjacent or interested in learning more about the art form (and perhaps, it may even inspire someone to try it out!)

This is an event to help engender community in an art form that is characterized by loneliness, isolation, and high pressure. Our goal is that, by the end of this event, you will have a support system to call on to help challenge, inspire, support, affirm, and grow you as a directorial artist.

Connect with your peers. Grow our collective artistry. Organize around the issues that matter to us the most (pay equity, process, rehearsal room tips, getting work made, getting noticed, BIPOC representation, gender equity, etc.)
