The moment you’ve all been waiting for… INTRODUCING, our new SPRING PLANT BEBES!

That’s right, TRANSPLANT DAY 🌱 2025 is on April 12th from 10am-2pm. Our veggie seedlings will be arriving from the greenhouse at the University of Maryland and will need a whole crew of hands to get them safely tucked and watered into our raised beds at Temperance Alley.

Plus we’ll be celebrating the official start to Spring programming by vesting of our new crop of Stump Fellows 🦺 in a little side ceremony for the community.

Come get your hands in the soil with our partners at Farm the District, every Saturday throughout the growing season. Whether you’re a first-timer or returning veteran, all are needed to help tend to our shared backyard. There’s plenty of projects to keep all hands busy, including weeding, watering, composting, repairing, crafting, and ongoing side projects. Find a partner and choose your own adventure.

As always, we’ll also be giving an orientation tour for newcomers. Welcome neighbors!
