Join Slow Food DC at Temperance Gardens for an afternoon revolving around Pleurotus Ostreatus, the oyster mushroom!
To help us prepare supplies, please register for free through Eventbrite.
The event will start off with a basic intro to mushroom cultivation workshop, after which participants will be given the chance to make their own take-home oyster mushroom grow kits (while supplies last!).
We're also lucky to have Chef Iulian Fortu of Arcadia Ventures joining us at this event. He is a mushroom expert who will be preparing a dish featuring oyster mushrooms for attendees to try and answer questions about cooking with mushrooms.
