This event will be an exploration of the power of forgiveness and grace in the world. We will spend time reading excerpts from various religious and philosophical texts, reflecting individually, and discussing as a group.
The event begins at 7:30pm. We will have candles in the garden to foster an environment conducive for our exploration together. You are encouraged to bring something related to forgiveness and grace: a totem that means something to you, a poem or excerpt from a reading, or a story from your life. Writing materials will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own.
Our agenda for the evening is as follows:
Gather in the garden and land together with a grounding exercise
Read excerpts on forgiveness and grace
Individually reflect and journal
Group exploration and discussion
We welcome everyone. We see you — you unfolding visionaries, you associative speculators, you gorgeous spirits, you illuminating thinkers. We honor you, and we ask for your grace in attending this event.
