National Cherry Blossom Festival (NCBF), in conjunction with presenting sponsor Events DC, invites DCPS students to participate in the inaugural “Blossom Kicks for Kids Program.” This vibrant Program enables students to unleash their creativity and tap into their passion for fashion and design. Students (grades 3 – 5) from Title I elementary schools in all eight wards are invited to submit their designs for a sneaker that reflects the theme “Let’s Spring Together.” The top five designs that NCBF selects from student entries in each ward will get a chance to display their sneaker designs in an art gallery.
