This lesson will cover basics of the Chinese martial and energy art called qigong — a practice that has existed for thousands of years, and offers wide health benefits. The relaxing and accessible class will involve slow stretching and meditative breathing that is ideally done standing but can be modified based on folks’ needs.
Our instructor, Nick Rabb, is a lifelong martial arts practitioner and former instructor who has earned a black belt in Okinawan Karate and practiced Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Qigong for years. His teaching style is fun and approachable, and he encourages everyone to try tapping into the healing and transformation that he has found from mind-body movement practice.
